Take notes in a google doc with your partner. Use a different font for each person. Your research is individual. You will find much of the same info as your partner. Later you will compare the info you both found. Label the fonts so I know who is writing what.
Avoid cutting and pasting. Read something. Write a short summary or bullet points.
Include images, including a photo of the artist.

What …. kind of art did they create? Be specific. Add images into your notes. At least 5.
Where …. were they born? …… did they live? …. did they die?
When ….. did they live? …. did they die? (How did they die?)
Why ….. are they famous?
What ….. inspired them?
What …. did their art represent? (peace, chaos, turmoil, oppression, war, harmony, progress, etc.)
Where …. did they go to art school? (Did they go to art school?)
Where ….. can you see their art? Be specific. Don’t just say “Mexico”
What ….. do you think about their art? …. Is your reaction to their artwork?
Can ….. You see their art anywhere in Chicago? (Go to the Art Institute website and look them up, see if any works are “on display.” I’m happy to help if you can’t find this info.
